I have had the privilege of working for Centrepoint since 2002. I left college after studying Level 3 Health & Social Care but was unsure what I wanted to do, although I knew I wanted a career in childcare. I was therefore delighted when Centrepoint offered me a post in the Playcare centre.
Whilst working at Centrepoint, I have been lucky enough to develop and grow both professionally and personally; and I am now proud to be the Head of Playcare and Complex Needs.
Centrepoint has always supported me academically and has encouraged me to complete a wide range of courses including a Level 5 Management qualification and a dance teacher qualification. After qualifying as a dance teacher, I set up “Street Angels”, which is a Street Dance and Graffiti Club for children. The club is very popular, and is always fully-subscribed.
I am very proud of the work I do at Centrepoint, and how much I have developed and grown as a person. I am inspired everyday by the amazing staff team and the awesome children.
Centrepoint is a huge part of my life and I have loved every minute of it.
